Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type

"This was a SMASH HIT at Dallas Children’s Theatre and at other theatres around the country. We expect it to do as well at CCT. I need a 5 actor/singer ensemble to carry this show! Join me on this journey—It will be a blast!"       Bill Goldsmith

MUSICAL:  Adult Actors are Paid

All day long I hear click, clack, moo. Click, clack, moo. Clickety, clack, moo. At first I couldn’t believe my ears. Cows that type? Impossible! Typing cows and a labor disputing duck join forces to stand up to Farmer Brown in this Broadway-style barnyard blockbuster. Based on the comical, witty, and sometimes wry picture book, Click, Clack, Moo is fun, fun, fun! Great music, hilarious dialogue and dancing farm animals will have the entire family laughing along with these literate cows organizing to protect their rights.

ROLES:  (ages 16 & up)

COW 1– Female/Older—acts as the mother of the barnyard.
COW 2 – Female/Younger—squabbles with Hen; becomes a radical
HEN – Female/Younger—squabbles with Cow 2; always afraid to “get in trouble”
DUCK– Male—the story’s narrator, but also a participator (and instigator).
FARMER BROWN – Male—not mean or a bad guy; just trying to get his work done

Actors should come with a prepared song and music. Accompanist will be provided. (no tapes) Bring current resume and photo and dress ready to dance. (Snapshot is fine.)  Scripts are available at our offices and may be checked out for 3 days with a $20 deposit. 177 E.
